Les Shadoks appeared on French TV in the late 60s and were an instant hit. Their stories is told through very short episodes.

Les Shadoks are nasty and stupid people who live by riduculously funny principles: Why do it the easy way when you can do it the hard way?
In the next planet live the Gibis, the total opposite to the Shadoks: nice but vulnerable.

The narrator, Claude Piéplu, is still fondly remembered by many French as the voice of the Shadoks.
